Just stick with Granny and you’re bound to win a new car one way or the other! This time you’ve got a chance to win a 2019 Nissan Rouge that is sure to turn heads after it’s custom wrapped with your alma mater or favorite schools colors. This stylish crossover is small enough to ride like a car but big enough to have plenty of room for groceries, sports equipment, home improvement supplies, or a slew of your buddies. The Nissan Intelligent Mobility systems can be enabled with Intelligent Lane Intervention, Automatic Emergency Breaking, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to help you adapt to adventure and go forward with confidence.
I can’t even remember the last time I had a brand-new car, but I do know why I can’t recall it- because it’s never happened! I’m one of those folks that would prefer to let others drive it off the lot new and pick it up from them a few years later after a little of the shine and a lot of the price have faded away. For that matter, many of the best cars I’ve ever owned were a decade old when I bought them. And by “best” I mean, ran the longest with the lowest cost of ownership and maintenance. Although it’s nice to have the latest and greatest of anything, I’m more of a “character” person myself, preferring something that has weathered the test of time. That’s also just a fancy way of admitting, I’m a cheapskate.
Every time I post a car sweepstakes I see more than one of you in the comments section telling your woes of having an old clunker on it’s last legs or in some cases, no car at all. While I do currently own a car, I can certainly sympathize with your sentiments. I went a few years without a car in my twenties, taking a bus to work and bugging friends for a ride to the grocery store. And just recently, after an engine failure in my daily driver, I bought a “beater”, a 20 year old car for under $1,000, with the intention of driving it just until I could get my main car fixed. One thing led to the other and it was three years until I could afford the engine repair. While I was glad to have anything at all, it was shock to go back to non-electric windows and seats, rattles, clunks and all the other excitement that can accompany a car that’s “old enough to drink”.
I think this Nissan Rouge could be the saving grace for one of you fans and subscribers if you were to win it. They even give you $5,000 to pay the taxes off, so you won’t have to worry about that. I know this prize could change someone’s life in an amazingly positive way. For that reason I am sending all my sincerest good wishes for one of you to be the winner!
