Wow does this contest combine two of Granny’s favorite things, those being cold hard cash and warm tasty barbecue. Even though some of these contests require you to do more than just fill out a form, I want to encourage more of my subscribers to take action. It know it can seem like a burden to make a meal, take a snapshot, make up a description and post it. But I bet if you give it a try, once your done you will think to yourself “that was easier than I thought it would be”. And just like anything, once you move forward to take the extra steps to enter this sweepstakes, then you’ll be ready and prepared to enter the next sweepstakes that requires the same actions. That opens you up to entering so many more sweepstakes, and as I hope you know by now, the more you enter, the more likely you are to win!

Many of you report that you’ve never won anything, and I completely understand how discouraging that can be. Just like those of you who are yet to be a winner, Granny herself entered contests for years without being chosen for the prize. But I persevered, finding ways to make it even easier to enter like by using a form filler. And low and behold, it finally happened. I won a $100 gift card. Believe it or not, after that first win, I started winning more and more often, and that was what ultimately motivated me to make this website and share the contests I was already entering with all of you.

Now I’m what you might call an “old pro”, no pun intended, at entering contests. Over the years I’ve learned a few things that seem to increase my chances of winning, but the number one of those is also pretty obvious – the more you enter, the more chances you have to win! Pay extra attention to contests, unlike this one, that allow daily entry or allow for you to gain extra entries on social media. But in addition, make sure you enter contests such as this one from Smithfield, that require you to post a picture. Even if it takes you extra time to make a social media account, or figure out how to upload a picture, once you learn how to do it, you’re done, and now you have opened yourself up to being able to enter so many more contests.
