The Castrol Barrett-Jackson Sweepstakes is a unique opportunity for car enthusiasts to win a grand prize that includes both a trip to the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a $40,000 credit to bid on a vehicle. The sweepstakes, sponsored by BP Lubricants USA Inc, is open for entries from August 20, 2024, through December 1, 2024.
Participants can enter by visiting the designated landing page and submitting an online entry form. The grand prize trip, scheduled from January 19 to January 26, 2025, includes round-trip coach air transportation for two, seven nights’ lodging, a rental car, $400 for incidentals, and daily lunch and dinner. The winner and their guest will also have access to the auction each day.
The highlight of the prize is a $40,000 credit to be used exclusively for bidding on a vehicle at the auction. The winner must register as a bidder and comply with Barrett-Jackson’s standard terms and conditions. Any amount exceeding the $40,000 credit must be covered by the winner, including all additional fees such as commission, taxes, and insurance.
Additionally, the prize package includes up to $4,000 to cover bidding commissions and transportation fees for delivering the purchased vehicle to the winner. If the total amount is less than $4,000, the difference will not be awarded to the winner. The sweepstakes winner must place a successful bid at this auction, as the funds cannot be transferred to another event.
